Job summary

Staffmark Group in Poway, CA is seeking a CNC Machinist for a direct-hire opportunity. You will program, set up, and operate CNC equipment to manufacture high-quality components while supporting efficient production and strict quality standards.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus machining education or related experience; familiarity with blueprints, calipers, micrometers, and G-code is important. Competitive hourly pay offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; machining education preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings is essential.
• Must understand machining principles, tooling, feeds, speeds, and materials.
• Ability to read calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety policies.
• Prepare and load tooling, fixtures, and material into CNC machines.
• Create and upload finished programs; run CNC programs for parts.
• Perform initial part inspections and coordinate with Quality on conformity.
• Communicate with other departments to resolve process or quality issues.
