Job summary

AtWork Personnel seeks a skilled CNC Programmer-Machinist to join a fast-paced shop environment in Ohio. You will develop, write, and prove out CNC programs for complex geometries on multi-axis machining centers, and you will set up and operate machines as needed.

The role includes tooling/fixture creation, program edits for efficiency, and maintaining detailed program records. You will have 2+ years of CNC programming experience, with proficiency in CAD/CAM software and G/M code editing,

Qualifications

Associate degree or 5+ years of equivalent education/experience in CNC programming.
Experience with multiple machining centers (mills, lathes, VTLs, 5-axis).
2+ years of CNC programming experience.
Proficient in using CAD/CAM software for CNC programming.
Ability to read and interpret complex drawings.
G and M code editing, multi-axis functions, and multi-brand controllers.

Responsibilities

Develop, write, and prove out CNC programs for complex geometry on multi-axis centers.
Set up and operate CNC machines as needed.
Create/modify tooling and fixtures; modify tools and programs for new jobs.
Edit programs to improve efficiency and production requirements.
Maintain records of CNC programs, modifications, and tooling.
Train machinists on program usage and provide technical support.
