Job summary

Ppswork in Ohio is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/ Programmer to join a growing precision manufacturing team. You will program, set up, and operate multi-axis CNC equipment to produce high-tolerance components for demanding applications.

You will read blueprints, interpret GD&T, and optimize processes with CAM and G-code, while performing inspections and pursuing cycle-time improvements with quality in mind. The role offers growth with advanced CNC equipment and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Strong CNC programming and setup skills.
• Experience with CNC turning, milling, and multi-axis machining.
• Proficiency with CAM software, G-code, and blueprint reading.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes, mills, and multi-axis mill-turn machines.
• Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G-code and CAM software.
• Perform complete machine setups, tooling changes, and offset adjustments.
• Read blueprints, interpret GD&T, and machine parts to tight tolerances.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and improve cycle times and efficiency.
