Job summary

TE Connectivity Corporation in Medway, MA is seeking a Machinist III for 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 4:30pm–3:00am). You will set up and operate CNC Swiss machines, read blueprints, maintain tooling, perform quality checks, and contribute to continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Requires 2+ years CNC machining experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and knowledge of precision measuring devices. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

High school education or equivalent with 2+ years Vo-Tech in machine tool tech.
2–5 years CNC machining setup and operating experience in a job shop.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

Sets-up, operates, and verifies quality on CNC Swiss machines with close tolerances.
Performs routine operations to meet quality and production standards.
Participates in continuous improvement activities.
Performs repeat set-ups with minimal supervision.
Monitors program sequence and makes corrections as needed.
Troubleshoots routine jobs and more complex jobs with supervision.
Runs production and deburrs parts as required.
Maintains tooling and uses precision measuring devices for quality checks.
Keeps work area clean and adheres to safety rules.
Contributes to engineering process improvements.
