Job summary

TECOMET in North Reading, MA is seeking a 2nd or 3rd shift CNC Machinist with 3+ years of experience. You will operate and set up CNC machines, read engineering drawings, and maintain quality while following GMP/GDP-like standards.

You will perform progressive machining, tooling changes, minor offsets, and routine PMs, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement. This role requires strong math skills, attention to detail, and teamwork in a high‑volume production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines within tolerances per drawings.
• Perform progressive machining of diverse parts and materials.
• Change dull tooling and adjust offsets as needed.
• Ensure product quality using OOQ standards and measuring equipment.
• Maintain daily PM and 5S housekeeping in work area.
• Adhere to GMP/GDP document practices and recordkeeping.
• Identify and support continuous improvement activities.
