Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• First-year machinist degree; current work experience will be considered.
• Metal fabrication experience.
• Two years machining experience required.
• Must furnish own tools.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to measure and machine to within 0.001 inches.
• Read and follow blueprints and product drawings.
• Shop math for algebra, dimensions and conversions.
• Use geometry and trigonometry to design machines.
• Operate hand and power tools and all machine shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC milling and turning centers.
• Correctly interpret blueprints and product drawings.
• Perform precise measurements and adjust as needed.
• Utilize calipers, micrometers, grinders, drills, files, indicators, height gauges, etc.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and meet production requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
