Job summary

Enprotech is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, producing precision parts and instruments for the metal forming and steel industry. You will read blueprints, develop cutting tooling lists, and write machine instructions to ensure accuracy.

The role requires ability to program CNC controls and perform in-process quality checks. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 5 years of CNC experience, and strong math and measurement skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years’ experience in operating CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and drawings.
• Ability to program and operate CNC controls.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNC lathe or mill to produce precision parts and instruments.
• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and drawings.
• Write instruction sheets and cutter lists to guide setup and operation.
• Write programs to regulate movement of machine along cutting path.
• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
