Job summary

Enprotech Corp in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes or mills producing precision parts. You will plan CNC programs and control contour-path machining on automatic tools.

Candidates interpret blueprints, select cutting tools, determine speeds and feeds, and ensure parts meet tolerances through in-process inspections. This role requires teamwork and precise workmanship in a shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years’ experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of shop math and geometric tolerance.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Set-up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Determine cutting tools, speeds and feeds based on part specs.
• Inspect parts using in-process measurement tools to ensure tolerances.
• Write instruction sheets and machine programs; revise as needed.
• Work with engineers to produce parts to specifications.
