Job summary

PrecisionX Group is seeking a CNC Operator to run lathes and mills, producing precision parts to exact specifications. You will set up machines, adjust tool offsets, and monitor cycles to sustain quality on the shop floor.

Colleagues in engineering and QA will rely on you to inspect finished parts with precision instruments, read blueprints, and apply GD&T as needed. A high school diploma is required; additional certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; certifications or vocational training are preferred.
• Experience operating CNC lathes and mills is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints; GD&T knowledge is valued.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines including lathes and mills to produce precision parts.
• Configure machine settings and tool offsets for each job.
• Monitor production cycles and make adjustments to ensure quality and throughput.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to address issues.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment and document results.
