Job summary

Eaton’s IS AER FED division in Rumford, RI is hiring a Machinist for the 2nd shift. The role focuses on setting up and operating CNC and manual machining equipment to produce precision components, with emphasis on quality and process improvements.

Core hours are 3 pm - 11 pm, Monday through Friday. The facility is unionized, with a 60-day probationary period before union membership and dues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Machinist or Tool & Die program or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC Turning or Milling.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and both conventional and programmable CMMs.
• Perform machine setups, in-process inspections, tooling and fixture modifications, heat treatment operations."
• Maintain 5S and safety standards; ensure quality and production efficiency.
