Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Machinist for 2nd shift (3:00 pm–11:30 pm) to operate CNC and manual machines, inspect high-precision parts, and interpret blueprints with GD&T. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC/5-axis milling and grinding, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or within a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade school certificate or machining education preferred.
• Experience with CNC and/or manual machinery valued but not required for entry-level applicants.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual machines to fabricate or repair precision components.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T to determine setups and sequences.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools.
• Maintain documentation and ensure safety and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with team to meet priorities and continuously improve quality.
