Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC is seeking a Machinist for 2nd shift (3:00 pm–11:30 pm) in Newnan, GA. The role involves operating CNC and manual machines, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring tight tolerances with GD&T.

Strong attention to detail, safety, and teamwork are essential for this production role. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with trade schooling in machining preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade school machining cert preferred; entry-level acceptable.
• Experience operating CNC and/or manual machines is valued.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual machine tools.
• Read blueprints and determine setups and sequences.
• Apply GD&T to ensure part conformances.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and pi tapes for inspection.
• Adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets to maintain quality.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping, and proper documentation.
