Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Machinist for the 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:30am) in Newnan, GA. You will operate CNC and manual machines, read blueprints, apply GD&T, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; machining education preferred.
• Experience with CNC/manual machines and reading blueprints.
• GD&T and precision measurement experience desired.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual machine tools to fabricate or repair precision components.
• Analyze blueprints and work orders to determine setups and sequences.
• Apply GD&T to ensure product conformance.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and pi tapes; maintain records.
• Adjust feeds, speeds, and tool offsets to maintain quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and operate overhead cranes safely.
• Communicate effectively with team and supervisors to meet priorities.
