Job summary

The company seeks a skilled CNC Machinist in Lebanon, OH, to join the 2nd shift. This hands-on role produces precision components to exact specifications and supports a safe, ethical, forward-thinking manufacturing environment.

You will set up and program CNC equipment, read blueprints, select tools, inspect tooling, monitor performance, and maintain quality on-site. The role demands lifting up to 50 lbs and wearing PPE during a tight 2nd-shift schedule (4:15 PM–2:45 AM, Mon–Thu).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to set up, program, and operate CNC equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and plans.
• Forklift and overhead crane operation.
• Proficient in measuring instruments and precision machining.
• Excellent math, mechanical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders.
• Ability to work in a hot, dusty, noisy shop environment with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts following blueprints and specifications.
• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC tools with close tolerances.
• Select and align holding fixtures and cutting tools.
• Maintain and inspect cutting tools for sharpness.
• Calculate and set controls for speed, feed, coolant, and depth.
• Monitor machine operation and adjust as needed.
• Apply basic programming to CNC equipment operation.
• Clean and maintain machines, tooling, and parts.
• Maintain and edit CNC programs for optimum performance.
• Suggest improvements to production methods and quality.
