Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East seeks a dependable 2nd Shift CNC Operator to join the manufacturing team. The role involves operating CNC machinery, monitoring quality, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities include loading materials, reading blueprints, measuring with calipers/micrometers, performing quality checks, and documenting production results. Overtime may be required based on production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNC experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read measuring tools and perform basic math.
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes, mills, or other CNC machines according to work instructions and production schedules.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
• Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Make minor machine offsets and adjustments as needed; complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate production concerns, quality issues, or equipment problems to supervisors.
