Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking a CNC Machinist in Lebanon, OH to machine components to precise tolerances. The role requires reading blueprints, setting up CNC VTLs, horizontal/vertical mills, and lathes, and ensuring tool and part quality.

You will adjust tooling, monitor machine performance, and implement process improvements while adhering to safety standards and shift hours (6AM–4:30PM, Mon–Thu).

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and plans.
• Strong math and problem‑solving skills required.
• Experience in setting up and operating CNC machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts following blueprints and written/verbal specs.
• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC tools with close tolerances.
• Align and secure fixtures, tools, and materials.
• Maintain and inspect cutting tools for sharpness.
• Calculate and set controls for speed, feed, coolant, and depth of cut.
• Observe operation to detect malfunctions and adjust controls.
• Basic programming skills.
• Clean and maintain machine, tooling, and parts.
• Edit CNC programs to optimize performance.
• Suggest improvements to production methods and equipment.
