As a Precision CNC Machinist, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing operations by producing high-quality components that meet rigorous engineering standards. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a variety of equipment including CNC machine tools, engine lathes, and vertical mills to achieve precise manufacturing outcomes.
- Execute complex setups and perform programming or editing tasks to optimize production cycles and part quality.
- Proactively identify and document product quality issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent non-conformity.
- Perform thorough inspections of manufactured parts and maintain accurate digital records of production data.
- Execute secondary manufacturing processes including tube forming, solder assembly, material sawing, and part deburring.
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot equipment performance and perform routine machine maintenance to ensure operational uptime.
- Take ownership of shop-floor solutions by recommending process improvements through established quality management channels.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical routers.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools to verify part tolerances.
- Hands-on experience with manual and CNC machine setup and operation.
- Willingness to provide and maintain personal hand tools required for trade operations.
Preferred Skills
- Completion of a formal Journeyman’s Certificate program.
- 5+ years of professional experience in a precision machining or manufacturing environment.
- Advanced knowledge of CNC programming languages and editing software.
- Strong background in quality management systems and industrial safety protocols.
