Responsibilities
  • Execute production cycles by loading and unloading CNC turning and milling equipment according to technical specifications.
  • Ensure part integrity by performing rigorous in-process inspections using precision metrology tools like micrometers and calipers.
  • Proactively monitor machine performance to detect deviations, vibrations, or quality issues before they impact production.
  • Collaborate with senior machinists to streamline setup processes, including tooling adjustments and work-holding configurations.
  • Maintain high standards of shop floor organization and cleanliness to optimize workflow efficiency.
  • Document production metrics and part counts accurately to support inventory and scheduling accuracy.
  • Uphold a culture of safety by strictly adhering to all operational protocols and utilizing required personal protective equipment.
  • Communicate tooling wear or equipment malfunctions immediately to minimize downtime and maintain output quality.
Required Skills
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a CNC or precision manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and understanding dimensional tolerances.
  • Demonstrated ability to use and calibrate standard inspection tools for quality assurance.
  • Strong focus on detail with the ability to maintain consistent output during repetitive tasks.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
