Theonics CNC in Huntsville, AL seeks a skilled CNC machinist to set up and run lathes and mills to match prints and CAD/CAM specs. You will decode blueprints, select tooling, and verify tolerances on Mazak, Okuma, Haas, and similar machines.

You'll perform in-process checks, document changes, and assist with routine maintenance. A high school diploma and 2+ years CNC experience are required; GD&T and G-code are essential.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of hands-on CNC experience with both mills and lathes.
• Working knowledge of CNC programming and G-code.
• Fluency with precision measurement (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and GD&T symbols.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.

Aufgaben

• Set up and run CNC lathes and mills to meet print and CAD/CAM specifications.
• Decode blueprints, drawings, and CAD models to determine tooling, workholding, and sequence.
• Hold tight tolerances through in-process checks and final inspection to spec.
• Keep machines performing at their best through basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Record setups, part counts, and any program/offset changes with clear notes.
• Follow safety practices and maintain an organized, clean workstation.
