Job summary

SimTech, Inc., recognized as a Best Place for Working Parents, seeks a Senior CNC Machinist to join our SMS Manufacturing Team in Huntsville, AL. You will interpret engineering drawings and CAD models to produce unique, high-precision components using CNC mills, lathes, and 5-axis equipment.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years of precision machining, capability with Fanuc/HAAS controls, 2D/3D CAM software, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and a willingness to work four 10-hour shifts with

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 3 years of precision machining experience with CNC mills and lathes.
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
Willingness to work four 10-hour shifts per week.
Overtime as needed for mission-critical operations.
Proficiency in 5-axis machining with Fanuc/HAAS controls.
At least 1 year of 2D/3D CAM software experience.
Experience in prototype or R&D machining environment.
U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models to manufacture high-precision components.
Manufacture complex parts using various materials and techniques.
