Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–2 years related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality machined parts by programming, setting up, and final machining all components.
• Write, store, and retrieve CNC programs for machined parts.
• Prioritize work orders for timely completion to accommodate customer needs.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements and troubleshooting.
• Set up, program, finish machine, and verify parts to print.
• Analyze orders, drawings, and specifications to determine tool selection, speeds, feeds.
