Job summary

American Axle & Manufacturing in Warren, MI is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator/Programmer for the prototype machining facility on 2nd shift. You will program, set up and run Mazak lathes with Mazatrol control to produce tooling and prototypes, performing precision, tight-tolerance work.

Responsibilities include verifying stock and tooling before machining, setting offsets with touch probes or edge finders, and inspecting parts with micrometers and calipers.
