Job summary

Yates Industries, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator to program, set up, and operate CNC lathes for precision hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders.

You will interpret drawings, write CNC programs, and verify parts to print while maintaining safety and efficiency. The role requires strong math and blueprint-reading skills, experience with Mazak Mazatrol, Mazak Fusion, and Fanuc controls, and the ability to collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to deliver

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1-2 years related experience or training.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Experience programming, editing programs, changing offsets and tools on CNC lathes.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and machine parts on CNC lathes to tight tolerances.
• Write, store, and retrieve CNC programs for machined parts.
• Prioritize work orders to meet customer needs.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain equipment through preventive maintenance.
• Set up, program, finish machine, and verify parts to print.
