Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–2 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret engineering drawings.
• Programming gantry robots, bar feeders, and sub spindles is a plus.
• Familiarity with CNC tooling and methods of machining mills.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes to produce quality machined parts.
• Write, store, and retrieve CNC programs for machined parts.
• Prioritize work orders to meet customer deadlines.
• Maintain safety procedures and clean work environment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; perform preventative maintenance as needed.
• Set up, program, finish machine, and verify parts to print.
• Analyze orders and drawings to determine tool selection, speeds, feeds, and dimensions.
