Job summary

AHU Technologies Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes to manufacture precision components meeting required dimensions and tolerances.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on CNC lathe experience, the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings, and strong attention to detail. This role includes machine setup, tooling selection, basic adjustments, quality inspection, and maintaining a safe, efficient production environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CNC lathe experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with CNC lathe setup and operation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments for QC.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes.
• Read blueprints and work orders to meet specs.
• Select appropriate tooling and fixtures.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and offsets.
• Inspect parts and ensure tolerances are met.
• Maintain production and inspection records.
