Qualifications

  • 1 year of CNC lathe experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC lathe setup and operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments for QC.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes to manufacture precision-machined components that meet required dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on CNC lathe experience, the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings, and strong attention to detail. This role involves machine setup, tooling selection, basic adjustments, quality inspection, and maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes to produce precision-machined components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications.
  • Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting tools.
  • Perform machine setup, offsets, and basic adjustments.
  • Monitor machining operations to ensure dimensional accuracy and required tolerances.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
  • Perform routine machine checks and report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work with supervisors and team members to resolve machining issues.
  • Follow company safety procedures, quality standards, and operational guidelines.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of CNC machine experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of CNC machine setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with machining equipment and industrial machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments for quality inspection.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to maintain accurate production and inspection records.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Technical training or certification in CNC Machining, Industrial Technology, or a related field is preferred.
