Job summary

RTCA in Washington state is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator for Swing Shift to produce precision aerospace parts. You will operate CNC equipment, load/unload parts, and perform basic inspections to ensure quality while maintaining records and a clean workspace.

The role requires reading production docs, following procedures, and teamwork with machinists and quality staff. Eligibility includes physical ability to stand long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow work instructions, routers and basic production documentation.
• Ability to use standard measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality parts.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer/data entry skills.
• Work safely in a machine shop and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Working a full-time, onsite position at our Fife, WA location.
• Safely operate CNC equipment and monitor machines during production.
• Load and unload parts, verify quality through basic inspections, and follow all work instructions.
• Maintain accurate production records and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Communicate issues, support smooth workflow, and follow all safety and quality procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
