Job summary

Bracalente Manufacturing - USA is seeking a CNC Mill and Lathe Operator to set up and operate CNC machines, producing precision parts per engineering drawings. You will measure, inspect, and document quality while maintaining efficient production on a 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 4:30 p.m.–3:00 a.m.).

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong attention to detail, and experience with multiple machining centers and quality controls.

• Ability to perform visual inspection of small parts, including use of a microscope

• Intermediate math skills, including geometry and trigonometry
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and SPC techniques
• Prior CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to produce quality parts
• Apply knowledge of machining, tooling specifications, and material characteristics to ensure successful production runs
• Load and unload parts from machines safely and efficiently
• Measure and inspect parts to verify conformance to specifications
• Complete quality control documentation and inspection records accurately
• Verify part compliance using precision measuring instruments and process control techniques, including SPC
• Work efficiently to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards
• Support daily machine utilization and productivity targets, including verifying and recording cycle times
• Start machines promptly at the beginning of the shift and maintain machine operation through breaks and lunch periods as applicable
• Ensure smooth handoff of machines at shift change to support continuous production
• Report labor transactions accurately and on time
• Clock in and out of jobs correctly for production, setups, and both direct and indirect labor activities
• Participate actively in 6S and continuous improvement initiatives
• Notify the Group Leader and/or Manager immediately when production or quality goals cannot be met
• Follow verbal and written instructions, including blueprints, travelers, work instructions, process specifications, sketches, and supervisor direction
• Perform a variety of machining and inspection tasks as assigned
