Job summary

Vulcan Industrial in Mansfield, TX, is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to produce high-quality, mission-critical components from engineered drawings. You will operate lathe turning centers with live tooling, perform in-process inspections, and ensure parts meet exact specifications while following established processes.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong math skills, reads G and M code, understands GD&T symbols, and can work with calibration tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months to 1 year experience operating lathe turning centers with live tooling capabilities.
• Technical certificate or degree preferred.
• Ability to understand G and M code and use precision tools.
• Strong math skills and ability to read blueprints and GD&T symbols.

Responsibilities

• Operate lathe turning centers with live tooling and meet production standards.
• Perform in-process inspections and ensure parts meet specifications.
• Adhere to QAP documentation and calibration requirements.
• Read program code and understand operation sequence for quality parts.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and support maintenance as needed.
