Job summary

Vulcan is seeking a highly capable CNC Mill Machinist for our Mansfield, TX facility to produce high-precision components per engineered drawings. You will work under supervision, read blueprints, verify measurements, and follow proven processes to deliver quality parts.

Role requires 1 year of CNC milling with live tooling, attention to detail, and strong math skills. Night shift (Mon-Thu 4:15pm–2:30am) includes a 5% premium and a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating CNC milling machines with live tooling capabilities.
• Technical program certificate or degree preferred.
• Basic PC Skills preferred.
• Siemens control experience preferred.
• Familiar with precision tools and instruments.

Responsibilities

• Meets production standards for machined parts and communicates issues when standards are not met.
• Performs in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards.
• Adheres to QAP documentation and checks revisions and calibration of measuring equipment.
• Reads program code and understands order of operations for quality parts.
• Maintains clean, safe work areas and follows safety regulations.
