Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. in Devens, MA is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to support manufacturing. You will operate CNC lathe and/or mill machines to produce quality parts for aerospace, defense, and medical clients, in a state-of-the-art facility.

The role requires 4+ years with 3/4 CNC milling centers, ability to read blueprints and GD&T, and a collaborative, safety-focused mindset. Training junior teammates, maintaining clean work areas, and adhering to process sheets are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with 3 and 4 CNC Milling Centers, 2-axis and multi axis.
• Ability to read Blueprints and have a good understanding of GD&T.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Adhere to and enforce the company's health & safety policies and procedures.
• Adhere to and enforce the company's quality policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CNC lathe and/or mill on FANUC, DMG MORI, Okuma controls.
• Set up machines and establish offsets, tooling, and first article inspection.
• Inspect parts during production to monitor dimensional and visual quality.
• Monitor equipment and tooling; troubleshoot when disruption occurs.
• Train and mentor junior team members on machining.
• Interface with Quality, Engineering, and other team members.
