Job summary

Vulcan Industrial in Mansfield, TX seeks a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to safely maintain and repair CNC mills and lathes, focusing on reliability and uptime. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and lead repairs as a senior member of the maintenance team.

The role requires 4–7 years of CNC experience, strong electrical/hydraulic/PLC knowledge, and CMMS proficiency. On-site schedule: Mon–Thu, 6:00am–4:30pm, with a safety-first culture and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

4-7 years of on-the-job experience in facility with CNC machine operations and management.
Full working knowledge of tooling and methods used for troubleshooting and repair of machinery and equipment (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical).
Ability to read hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
Knowledge of basic electricity, motor theory and protection, and PLC logic.
Experience with measuring instruments and CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot and repair CNC mills and lathes with focus on machine availability and reliability.
Respond quickly to unplanned downtime to restore production equipment to normal operations.
Coordinate with vendors for installations, troubleshooting and repairs.
Utilize CMMS to track work hours and keep records of time on jobs.
