Job summary

Vulcan Industrial in Mansfield, TX is seeking a CNC Mill Machinist to produce high-precision components for energy, defense, aerospace, and heavy industries. You will operate CNC mills with live tooling, read complex drawings, and follow established processes under supervision, ensuring quality and on-time production.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (technical training preferred), basic PC skills, and experience with precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• Operate CNC milling machines with live tooling per drawings and specs.
• Perform in-process inspections to verify part quality.
• Read and interpret charts, drawings, and blueprints.
• Maintain tool life data, cycle times, and calibration records.
• Follow safety, quality, and HS&E procedures.

Responsibilities

• Meets production standards for machined parts and communicates deviations.
• Performs in-process inspections and validates against specs.
• Ensures tooling, documentation, and gauging are present and current.
• Maintains work area, cleans up, and adheres to 5S standards.
• Assists with troubleshooting and ongoing process improvements.
