Job summary

ACE Partners is a well-established precision machine shop serving oil & gas, aerospace, and medical device industries. The CNC Lathe Machinist will setup, operate, and ensure first-article quality on complex, close-tolerance parts using existing programs.

Candidates should have proven CNC lathe setup experience, be comfortable reading blueprints with GD&T, and adapt to a low-volume, high-precision environment. Aerospace/oil & gas experience and AS9100 familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience setting up and running CNC lathes.
• Comfortable reading blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with exotic/hard-to-machine materials is a plus.
• Adaptable to a low-volume, high-precision job shop environment (1–10 piece runs).

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC lathes from provided programs and operate them.
• Load tooling, set offsets, verify first-article parts against blueprints/GD&T.
• Machine materials such as Inconel, titanium, stainless, and other alloys.
• Maintain tolerances to ±0.001" (±0.0005" in some cases).
• Uphold quality standards in a low-volume, high-precision shop.
