ADDMAN Group is seeking a dedicated machinist to set up, operate, and maintain a wide range of machining equipment on site. You will read blueprints, select tooling, and ensure precise parts while maintaining safety and quality in a defense/space/aerospace environment.

The role requires teamwork, independence, and strong troubleshooting skills to keep production running efficiently and to standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in machining and with quality processes is desired.
• Some exposure and experience with manufacturing /CNC machining processes.
• Understand continuous improvement or lean / six sigma principles.

Responsibilities

• Safely set up, operate, and maintain machining equipment on site.
• Study blueprints and specs to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Select programs, fixtures, tooling, drills, and inserts as needed.
• Monitor operations for malfunctions and adjust as required.
• Collaborate with engineers and production to resolve problems.
• Perform layouts and operate a variety of machine tools precisely.
• Record production data and maintain cleanliness and 5S standards.
• Adhere to safety policies and ITAR requirements.
