Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints to determine grinding specs, tolerances and part counts.
• Mounts wheel on spindle and prepares grinding setup as required.
• Sets up machine parameters to control length of stroke and pattern.
• Operates grinder, feeds wheel to work piece, and checks dimensions.
• Verifies finished parts against specifications.
• Replaces worn grinding wheels when needed.
