Job summary

Gorilla Mill in Pewaukee, Wisconsin is seeking a CNC Grinder Operator to program, set up and operate a CNC grinder. You will maintain equipment, uphold quality and safety standards, and record detailed part data.

Responsibilities include translating drawings to measurements, proper setup/calibration, ensuring procedures follow company guidelines, inspecting tools and machines, and maintaining a clean workstation.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of machine maintenance and operation.
• Attention to detail to produce consistent, conforming product.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production.
• Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects.
• Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict guidelines of the company.
• Dress and maintain grinding wheels to meet physical requirements used in precision operations.
• Follow all company safety protocol.
• Inspect the work area and machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift.
• Record and document accurate information for data collection.
• Verify and monitor products by use of hand gauges and other measuring devices to ensure accuracy and quality dependent on tolerances.
• Maintain a clean environment in assigned workstation.
