Job summary

GWS Tool Group seeks a 5-Axis CNC Operator on 2nd shift in Menomonee Falls, WI. You will set up, program, and operate 5-axis CNC grinding machines to produce premium carbide and HSS tools. You will inspect output for quality and adjust processes to maintain precision and efficiency.

The role requires reading blueprints, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience with 5-axis setup is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and offset CNC machines as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints to program and operate the machine.
• Inspect tools and finished parts for defects using quality control tools.
• Communicate quality issues to programmers/GM and adjust processes.
• Ensure daily machine functionality and safety checks.
• Move material for upcoming jobs and perform other duties as assigned.
