Job summary

Stevens & Lee is seeking a Temporary Cash Reconciliation Specialist to bring cash reconciliations current across more than 100 bank accounts at multiple institutions. You will ensure accuracy of financial records through detailed analysis and precise reconciliation work.

The role requires 1–3 years of cash reconciliation experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Business/Accounting degree preferred.
• 1–3 years cash reconciliation experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Performs cash reconciliations across multiple bank accounts and institutions.
• Review client receipts and post payments to client accounts accurately.
• Verify invoices for proper documentation and approvals prior to payment.
• Process vendor payments and prioritize invoices per terms.
• Prepare and coordinate check runs.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Audit and process corporate credit card expenses.
• Review and process employee expense reimbursements.
• Maintain vendor records and update vendor information.
• Respond promptly to vendor inquiries.
• Allocate expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers.
• Support additional accounting and finance projects as assigned.
