Job summary

The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Bakery is seeking a dedicated Baker to produce cakes of the highest quality while supporting exceptional guest service. You will follow proprietary NbC recipes and production methods, operate commercial-grade ovens and mixers, and maintain precise measurement and timing to meet production goals.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and adhere to strict health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Applicants must be 18+ years old.
No formal education required; prior bakery/foodservice experience is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Basic understanding of US measurement units.
Ability to read recipes and follow health and safety rules.

Responsibilities

Follow NbC recipes and production methods with precision to meet productivity goals.
Operate commercial-grade ovens, mixers, and other bakery equipment.
Prepare raw ingredients, load pans, monitor baking, and ensure proper texture and color.
Package, label, and store baked cakes and maintain logs.
Assist Bakery Manager with production planning and inventory.
Inspect ingredients and finished products for NbC quality standards.
Maintain a clean, sanitized workstation and restock supplies for next shift.
Comply with health, safety guidelines and NbC policies including dress code.
Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
