Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in California to service brakes, alignments, suspensions, and related components. You will test drives, install batteries, and support offsite services while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced shop.

The role involves lifting, bending, and manual work, with on-site responsibilities and opportunities for benefits after eligibility.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license is required.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
Testing and installing batteries.
Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
Assisting other employees.
Test driving vehicles.
Operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
