Job summary

Rush Enterprises, Inc is seeking a Body Shop Mechanic in Commerce City, Colorado to repair or replace damaged body parts to pre-accident condition following factory specifications. The role emphasizes invisible repairs and high-quality finishes.

Responsibilities include reviewing repair orders, performing teardown, aligning with factory process, and mentoring apprentices. A CDL and ICAR Welding certification are preferred, with opportunities for growth within Rush Truck Centers' network.

Qualifications

• Three years’ body shop experience.
• ICAR Welding Certificate.
• CDL and Medical card preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review each repair order and notes before work to understand repairs.
• All repairs must follow the repair order or supplement.
• Knowledge of the manufacturer's and technical repair process.
• Use frame and measuring equipment per vendor procedures.
• Perform initial teardown of vehicle and identify parts for cut-in/edging.
• Perform repairs according to factory specifications and I-CAR standards and sign off quality checks.
