Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking a Body Shop Mechanic in Utah to repair/replace damaged body parts to pre‑accident condition per factory specs. You will review repair orders, perform teardown, and ensure high‑quality finishes before paint and detailing.

Role requires 2+ years of body shop experience, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of repair processes. CDL/medical card preferred but not required. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years body shop experience.
• Current and valid driver license with insurability.
• CDL and Medical card preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of manufacturer repair processes and I‑Car standards.

Responsibilities

• Review each repair order, work order, and notes to determine repairs needed.
• Complete repairs according to documentation and factory specs.
• Use frame and measuring equipment per vendor procedures.
• Perform initial teardown and identify parts for cut‑in/ edging.
• Sign off on all quality checks before painting and detailing.
• Re‑assemble painted parts and perform final quality review.
• Mentor apprentices and help develop repair skills.
