Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking a Body Shop Mechanic to repair or replace damaged body parts to original factory specifications. You will review repair orders, perform teardown, and ensure repairs meet factory standards with I-CAR guidelines.

Responsibilities include using frame and measuring equipment, performing all repair procedures, and conducting final quality checks before the vehicle returns to paint and detail. CDL and Medical card are preferred, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Three years’ body shop experience required.
• CDL license and Medical card as FMVSS preferred but not required.
• ICAR Welding Certificate is required or preferred depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Review repair orders and notes to understand repairs before work begins.
• Perform repairs according to factory specifications and company policy (I-CAR).
• Use frame and measuring equipment per vendor procedures.
• Perform teardown, identify parts for cut-in/ edging, re-assemble and perform final quality check.
