Job summary

Jasper Products is seeking a detail-oriented production worker for the manufacturing line in Missouri. The role involves batching, weighing ingredients, labeling for traceability, and maintaining clean, compliant processes on-site.

Responsibilities include weighing, documenting batch weights, operating pumps, and ensuring safety and proper housekeeping during all shifts. The position requires basic training and adherence to QA protocols.

Responsibilities

• Review batch sheets.
• Confirm RM numbers and Lot numbers and contact Process Lead or Supervisor with discrepancies.
• Accurately weigh all ingredients and label containers for traceability and allergen control.
• Close containers and drums, clean them of residue before returning to warehouse.
• Keep scoops and containers clean and in good condition.
• Check the scale for accuracy and cleanliness.
• Maintain clean pre-weigh area, pallets and slip-sheets.
• Communicate with Process Lead or Supervisor constantly.
• Make swings for production or CIP and maintain housekeeping during swings.
• Clean totes, buckets and scoops after batching and store properly.
• Label and seal ingredients for return to warehouse.
• Know which ingredients can be combined and which must be kept separate.
• Operate liquid pumps for syrups and oils.
• Weigh ingredients promptly and accurately.
• Document weights and lots on batch sheets and sign off.
• Understand blending and processing systems.
• Know gasket usage, replacement and securing clamps and fittings.
• Remove, inspect, clean and install strainers and magnets.
• Remove and clean shock absorbers for homogenizers.
• Follow batching instructions and maintain safety during batching.
