Job summary

ICP Group in Tampa, FL is seeking a Chemical Operator/Batchmaker to support our chemical plant operations. Shift hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with overtime and Saturdays during peak season.

You will batch, weigh, sample materials and blend ingredients to SOP specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include following daily schedules, reporting issues, and assisting with training.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience a plus.
• Read and apply SOPs in daily tasks.
• Multi-task and monitor multiple processes simultaneously.
• Basic math skills for weighing and batching.

• Complete training with safety competency tests.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily scheduled activities as directed by supervisor.
• Handle chemicals safely and batch, weigh, and sample materials.
• Blend ingredients to SOP specifications and maintain batch records.
• Follow SOPs, policies and safety regulations at all times.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and organized.
• Report problems to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain production schedule efficiency to meet demand.
• Communicate with supervisor and QC during batch processing.
• Assist in general labor tasks and training of new personnel as needed.
• Adhere to lock-out/tag-out and hazard communication policies.
