Job summary

Custom Building Products in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking a Batch Operator for a 2nd shift (4:00 PM - 2:30 AM, Mon-Thu). You will blend chemicals, weigh ingredients, and prep equipment to reliably produce high-quality products while adhering to safety standards.

You will work with Production and Maintenance to meet daily goals, with a $1.00/hr shift premium and potential post-90-day increases based on performance. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior batch or blending experience preferred; training available.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Read and understand work orders and formulas.

Responsibilities

• Follow formulas and production instructions precisely, including ingredient sequencing and raw material codes, to ensure consistent product quality
• Weigh, measure, and load ingredients into mixers according to specifications; take samples, coordinate with Quality Control, and make adjustments as needed
• Operate mixing and blending equipment for cement, grout, mastic, and cleaning products; monitor automated systems when required
• Maintain accurate production records, including batch logs, maintenance reports, calibration records, and shift handoff documentation
• Assist with packaging and material handling as needed to support production flow
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA requirements, actively participating in safety training and reporting or correcting unsafe conditions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
