Qualifikationen

• At least 1+ years of previous manufacturing experience required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical training is preferred but not required.
• Experience in a metals industrial setting preferred.
• Experience in use of micrometers and other precision measurement tools.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports, manuals, technical procedures.

Aufgaben

• Handle coils: remove from skids, load to payoff, measure gauge and width.
• Set up the B-Plate Mill by interpreting process sheets, setting parameters, and lubricating.
• Adjust and correct mill set-ups to reduce thicknesses and defects.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products to verify conformance to specs.
• Read production orders, blueprints and mill schedules to determine setup specs.
• Monitor speeds with dial indicators and regulate machine mechanisms.
• Collaborate with Scheduling & Maintenance on production issues.
• May work with an assigned helper.
• Enter data into the SAP system.
