Job Information

• Job Title: Machine Operator

Role Purpose

Machine Operators are responsible for handling thin sheets of metal throughout the manufacturing process. This role ensures proper machine setup, operation, and inspection to meet quality and production standards while adhering to safety and operational procedures.

Scope & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assigned duties in accordance with documented procedures and work instructions

• Train and become proficient in machine startup and shutdown procedures

• Set up and operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with specifications

• Develop a basic understanding of manufacturing processes, measurement adjustments, and work order instructions

• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks at the operator level

• Conduct pre-inspection of panels, identifying defects such as poor printing, rub-down issues, or resist failure

• Accurately interpret and complete work order documentation and production records

• Maintain a working knowledge of production processes and quality expectations

• Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Support team operations and contribute to overall production goals

• Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs

Work Experience & Skills

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
