Job summary

Materion is seeking a Bonding Mill Helper in Lincoln, RI to support the Bonding Mill Operator by performing machine set-up, maintaining quality, meeting daily production targets, and assisting with equipment troubleshooting.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, at least 1 year in manufacturing, and may prefer experience in a metals environment. You will read process sheets, monitor gauges, and ensure conformance to specifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Experience in a metals industrial setting preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports, manuals, and technical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handle coils: remove coils from skids, load them to the payoff, and measure gauge and width.
• Set up the designated Bonding Mill: follow process sheets, set machine parameters, and use lubrication.
• Adjust machine settings to reduce thicknesses, reshape products, and eliminate product defects.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Monitor and adjust machine speeds using dial indicators.
